Real Estate Agents can utilize Smart Home devices in a couple of ways during the sale or purchase of a home. Aside from the ideas listed below, please don’t be afraid to suggest/request other approaches:
- Offer a Gift Card for a pre-arranged discount that your client can use toward install of Smart Products in the home they are selling (to make it more sellable), or the home they are buying (after they move in).
- As a post-purchase “Thank You”, offer a certain amount toward the install of Smart Home products in the new home being bought. Our established program provides pre-printed Gift Cards for $200 toward the purchase of our “Smart Start” package. All you have to do is fill out the card and include it in their Thank You Basket. The agent is only be charged if/when the homeowner uses the Gift Card. Perhaps a little more practical (and valuable) than a bag of popcorn.
- Help your seller brighten up their home and make it more appealing by encouraging them to upgrade all their lighting to LED bulbs. We can arrange a separate discount to the seller for new Smart Home products they purchase for their new home. Most of this can be included on the Net Sheet to make it as painless as possible.
- At the very least, Real Estate agents should become more familiar with Smart Home technology – let us work with you and your colleagues to bring you up to speed – at no cost to you
